DEMAND ORDER

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
A client has received a Demand Order for claiming excess Input Tax Credit (ITC) in 2019-20, despite having all supporting documents for correct ITC claims. They are considering an appeal. The general advice is that winning an appeal is likely if the ITC was indeed availed correctly. However, a new query arises as the appeal time limit of 3 months from the order date (09/07/2024) appears to have been exceeded, prompting a question about the next steps.

15 November 2024 One of my clients received Demand order for taking Excess ITC for the year 2019-20.But he keeps all supporting documents for availing Correct ITC. He go for appeal. Will he win?

15 November 2024 Yes, in case ITC is availed rightly.

15 November 2024 Thank you Sir, The above mentioned Demand Order case time limit exceeds 3 months. order date is 09/07/2024. What should I do Sir ?
