15 September 2009 Deferred Expenditure means those exp. benifit of which obtained more then one accounting period.

Suppose that u appoint Mr. Amitabh Bachan for advertisment compain of ur company and he charged Rs.1 Crore.Then benifit of this advertisment can be obtained more then one accounting period. Than This exp. called Deferred Revenue Expenditure and can be amortize over the accounting period upto benifit of this compain received.
