Defective return notice from cpc

01 December 2016 Dear Expert,
Nowadays, Defective return notice is issuing by cpc for ITR 4 in which books of accounts not maintained. In these type of notice, reason of defective return that expenses not shown detail wise, while we already declared that books of accounts not maintained, So it is not compulsory that expenses show in detail wise. So Pl guide me to solve these type of problems.

02 December 2016 No, there are other columns you have to fill such as gross income, total expenses , net profit and cash balance. Stock, debtor and creditor balance.
If you fill this column your return will be complete.

02 December 2016 Dear Kaviraja Addangadi Ji, I have already filled above detailed in specific coloums, but cpc issued notice for such type of ITR. So now what is wayout to solve this problem.

02 December 2016 I have corrected some of my client return who have refund which I have filed opting without books, now I have regenerated Xml u/s139(9) uploaded same was accepted by CPC and issued refund
