Defective return + belated return please help

I have filed an ITR of assessee where same income got considered twice for tax computation & the return got uploaded.Now I have received NOtice u/s 139(9) for Defective Retun.What should be done in this case.please help on this...

20 March 2015 how twice it got taxed pls elaborate..........

20 March 2015 Income from other sources got included in the p&L and also in other sources schedule.While computing tax ,maybe the excel allowed to manually enter tax payable and hence it got uploaded with it.Now a notice for the additional income tax payable is raised.

20 March 2015 then since it is a belated return u cannot revise it so better you meet your juridictional ao and narrate him the whole matter as officially only he can rectify the order passed if you shjow him the mistake of double taxation u/s 154
