Defective return

24 September 2016 I Received defective return with ERROR CODE 31. I filed ITR 4 with No Accounts case. my receipts is rs 578125. I claimed expenses 351050 I showed remaining balance as Income (227075) . I have TDS. I claimed total TDS on My Return but dept treated defective. what i am doing for claiming of MY refund? pls give me Valuable inputs to me? (how to claim my refund amount even though Return is Defective?)

so i want to give response to dept with details of B/S and P//L a/c , but may i accept or reject that return defective or not( under dept site "my pending actions") for giving response to dept for claiming of My REFUND?

24 September 2016 You have to submit Balance sheet and profit and loss account, but in ITR 4 Balance sheet is compulsary therefore you have to update balance sheet.

25 September 2016 1. Choose ' I accept' option , then

2. Cure the defect by filling P & L and BS in ITR-4 and upload the return.

26 September 2016 may i will select or not Maintain books of accounts U/s 44 AA (Whether yes or not)?for above case ?

i will get or not refund after rectification of return U/s 139(9) ?
