Don't you think that deemed rent should be held void? When there is no income where arises question of tax on the basis of deemed rent?

As per me it is correct, coz there r many people who doesn't have house to live. So y leave house vacant. And a vacant house is not an earning source. So it is a loss for the Economy. Thats y IT is applicable on the property.
But as per individual point of view(tax payer) it is incorrect.
