Whether person with lungs cancer is eligible for deductions under Sec 80 DDB?

As per Rule 11DD, Malignant Cancers is eligible for deduction u/s 80DDB. For claiming deduction u/s 80DDB, one has to submit a certificate in Form 10I.

1. Diseases for which deduction is available u/s 80DDB are specified in Rule 11DD.
One of the diseases specified is "Malignant Cancer"
2. The assessee has to obtain a certificate in Form No. 10-I from the doctor.
