Deduction u/s 80g disallowed

12 February 2013 The director of our co. has 1 HUF and 1 Charitable trust. While filing return of HUF it applied for deduction u/s 80G for the donation made to its charitable trust.
But the department has disallowed it any specific reason for disallowing the same...
please reply urgently.

12 February 2013 Allowable to all kind of Assessee:- Any person or ‘assessee’ who makes an eligible donation is entitled to get tax deductions subject to conditions. This section does not restrict the deduction to individuals, companies or any specific category of taxpayer.

May be Disallowed Because of Author of Trust and Karta of HUF is One and The same person.
But No Such point Written in Act.

12 February 2013 Me too has the same opinion may be disallowed because Trustee and Karta is same person. but such point is not written in the act.....any other view please....
