Whether stamp duty and registration charges paid for the purchase of land for construction of house property is eligible for the deduction u/s 80C?
If yes, pl give supporting to your suggestion.

Stamp duty of purchase of land alone is not eligible for 80C deduction.

If the stamp duty on purchase of house property is allowable, then why the land purchased for the said house will get disallowed?
As per my simple thinking like comman man, there is no need to pay stamp duty on own construction of property, therefore the stamp duty paid on purchase of land which will ultimately used for construction of house property with in two years of land acquisition should be eligible for deduction.
Pl, give me your valuable suggestion.
