26 March 2012 I am having the receipt of donation u/s 80 G but it does not consist the PAN of the donee. Will i get the dedcution if i dont mention the PAN in the return.?

26 March 2012 Every trust to whom certificate issued u/s 80G, is required to quote PAN in all its comminication. You need to have the following with you to get the deduction-

1. Receipt of donation there will be registartion no. on the recipt
2. Copy of certificate u/s 80G from the donee.

If you have both of them then you will get the PAN of the donee otherwise no deduction shall be given to you u/s 80G.
