Deduction of medical expenses - preventive health check up

Dear Sir / Ma'am,
A person has incurred Rs. 10,465/- in the year 2017-18 on the general body check up of his own. Can we claim the extra deduction (apart from mediclaim) under section 80 D on account of Preventive Health Check Up.
Person is also paying Mediclaim of Rs. 23,000.
Please advise

Maximum u/s 80D is Rs. 25,000 (23.000 + 2000 out of Rs.10465).
