Dear sir,
whether it is mandatory to incurred the exp.regarding medical treatment or it is notional deduction under both the option. if a person who is eligible to take deduction u/s 80DD then will able to take deduction us 80DDB simultaneously.

i think the person is not eligible to take the both benefits together though you can recheck my answer
