28 May 2013 I have invested in real estate in new project.Along with initial amount builder recovered Service Tax amt.in huge,But hesitate issue receipt .Now i would like to know that the deducted amount was remitted to govt. hesitate to Like reconfirmations of TDS from 26 we may confirm. Like the same my deducted amount was properly transacted? How to reconfirm? if he may not my hesitate tothrough which Govt. authority I may rectify

14 July 2013 Just write a letter to the builder stating the payments made by you as confirmation for payment on account of installment and for service tax. The builder will not accept the letter but you have to send it by registered a/d. Also call for payment of service tax challan and send a copy of the letter to the service tax department it will automatically be confirmed. You should not send the first letter to ST Deptt. if the builder do not respond then write another letter and attach the first letter.
