Debit note entry in tally

20 December 2011 when i pass debit note entry in tally then the same is not reflected in the party ledger account.

for eg. purchase dr 100000
to Mr. X 100000

debit note entry

Mr. X Dr 10000
To Purchase a/c 10000

rs. 10000 is not reflected in Mr. X a/c

help please.

22 December 2011 In the above problem the entries are correct. If you have passed the entries same as above in tally then no issue it must be reflected in the parties ledger. any way you have to check the option must be "YES" in purchase accounts head at inventory values are affected and you have to check the option as "YES" at F11 features in the content of USE DEBIT/CREDIT NOTES in both ACCOUNTING AND INVENTORY FEATURES
