I s there any provisions in any law or government scheme that if a regular income tax return filer met with an accident and died and his family is eligible for death claim from government on the basis of his income tax return filed.

Yes the legal heir can claim the refund(if any), for the respective assessment year.

No any other benefit like insurance claim.
