Dealer's Excise Retun (Online problem)

15 April 2011 Dear Sirs,
We are importer and just taken excise registration (Dealer's). While filing return, we are facing some problem :

1. NIL Sales return is not filed, validation rejected.

2. NIL Purchase Return is not filed, validation rejected.

3. If import are there, what to fill in "BOE-issued by" and its respective registration no (as per restricated format), because how can we get such restricated format of any company who has exported us the material.

18 April 2011 These problems are faced by many. There have been changed in excel files used for Returns. These files need to be downloaded after you are logged in. Pls avoid downloading directly from cbec site without login. It is given to understand that some changes have been made in excel files of returns and same have to be downloaded after login. Pls try this. If it doesn't work then you need to report the problem to the helpline and submit the return to your range and take acknowledgement.

02 May 2011 Dear Dinesh, You are file return manually. Yor are Importer so the Excel Utility format do not take our own registration no. as a importer. the below weblink may clarify ur problem. If you have any doubt regards Pls send me your Email Address i will clarify you.
