date of return filing of company for AY 2008-2009. is it 31 Oct or 30 Sept as per budget. if it is 30 Sept where it is defined.

There has been no change in the due date for filing tax returns for individual tax payers. It is only with respect to a company or any other person whose accounts needed to be audited or for a working partner in a partnership firm whose accounts need to be audited, that the tax return filing date has been brought forward by one month from October 31 to September 30. Similar advancement is proposed in the case of return of fringe benefits.

As per Finance Act 2008 Date of filing of return in case of company is 30 sep.
