Date of birth proof for pan application

25 February 2015 i want ot apply for Pan i have AADHAAR CARD as adress proof & identity proof but,iam not having any one of the proofs mentioned in pan application for date of birth
but, i hear from some friend that a NOTARISED AFFIDAVIT with declaration of age is sufficient as date of birth proof
is it correct
