I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REGISTER ONE OF CLIENT ON INCOME TAX WEBSITE BUT ON THIS PROCESS I PUT DOB AS PRINTED ON PAN CARD BUT CONTINUOUSLY GETTING MESSAGE DOB IS INCORRECT.
SO PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

File a PAN correction application form. Will get a discrepancy notice/ email in which DOB as in PAN data base can be seen. Then not act on the application so that the
application will get automatically rejected by lapse of time. Then with the DOB got
from the above said letter, register in IT e-filing portal and proceed further.

FIRSTLY THANKS FOR YOUR PROMPT REPLY THE TODAY I CALLED NSDL REGARDING THE SAME AND THEY TELL ME IN OUR RECORD DOB 1.1.1959 .(ON PAN CARD 1.1.1949) AND FOR CORRECTION APPLY CORRECTION PROCEDURE BUT THEY DIDN'T ANSWER WHEN I ASKED REGARDING HOW THAT MISTAKE HAPPENED.
