Is it possible to DOWNGRADE tally data ????

If yes than how to downgrade data from tally erp 9 to tally 9 ??????

10 September 2013 Not only for Tally for any software only upgrade is possible but downgrade not possible.
Because of advanced version shall contain the many features than older version which are not available in older version. So while we trying to downgrade such additional features in advance version shall not found in older version then software fails to convert that.

As well as every software company generally design their software as for conversion from older to new but not the vice-versa, because of the don't want to go for back and may not think like that also.

However contact tally solutions for your query then they may be help you suggest in this regards if possible.

Next question is whenever i tried to add digital signature while efiling from Income tax website, i have to put the digital signature in fakepath folder or something ?????

what this all about ??????
please explain

Try this steps for Downgrading!!

Copy data to old version data folder;

Press CTRL + ALT + R (for rewriting the data)

Select Company which you wanna downgrade!!

once rewrite completes you can use the data.....

I dont knonw whether it works now or not, also do take backup before doing this activity.

17 September 2013 If above not works, you can export day book from the beginning of the period in SDF format & import the same in old version!!
