As per CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, if any service provider pay additional custom duty which equivalent to Excise duty (under section 3 of the custom tariff act, 1975). Then credit of such paid duty can be utilize against the payment of Service Tax & Excise Duty as per the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004.
