04 February 2012 As per the training guidelines of ICSI --- A student shall be exempted from undergoing the ICSI -APTECH Computer course if he / she fulfill the following criteria’s: 1. He / She has successfully completed one or more computer course(s) from any Institution and 2. He / She enroll himself / herself for an online exemption test (to be conducted by APTECH) at any of the APTECH Center on all India basis and successfully clears the test. Note: As per the recent changes in the policy of the Institute, the online exemption test will be conducted by M/s Sify for which the registration will open w.e.f. 19th November 2011. The students may register themselves online for the exemption test in SIFY and find more details regarding the test through icsi-sify portal i.e. https://icsi.sifyitest.com. Sir I still have some queries...

I am m.com., mba, tally graduate and also done a course of fundamental of computer & internet system.

so as per given rules in icsi website and like provided by u, i will be eligible for exemption for training and have to pass sify test. So, i visited the aptech center of rajkot with my certificate but the authorised person rejected my certificate and told that i have to take training before test...

So please guild me what should i do in this matter?

06 February 2012 you are exempt from one subject if you M.COM & having more than 60% marks in cost and management A/C in executive programme .

on the other hand you are exempt from Computer training programme you eligible only for TEST already mentioned the above said link please check & if you have any doubt pls. put up A RTI LETTER TO ICSI IN THIS CASE.
