criteria and age limit for joining CA

13 February 2010 I am a M.Com Postgraduate having more than 15 years of experience. At this age of 45, I would like to pursue CA. Can I do the same. What is the procedure.
Non professional is a stumbling block to get elevated beyond a certain level in my career.

Welcome any other sugesstions.

13 February 2010 Very happy to know that you are interested in doing CA. Age is no Bar, The Renowned author Mr S Bala Who has authored a Book for Financial Management for Final CA started his CA studies at the age of 58 after retiring from His service from a Bank & completed his CA at the age of 60 so you are still young compared to his age, but now you will have to Appear for CPT. My friend if you are from Bombay or PUNE then I will help you for your studies to get thru, However if you are from some other place do no hesiatae you can call me on my Mobile & i will do the best possible help if you need or ask for it

20 February 2010 there is no age limit in CA course. u r welcome but to be very frank, it would be very difficult to complete ur article training coz at this age u would have diffinatily some responsibility and to comply it with ur stipend of Rs 1000, it is very tough.
