08 April 2009 Our company is delling in Internet service provider and com. purchase Store and Spares with amount 735603 and pay freight with amount Rs. 8196 plz tell me what is Service Tax Rate is apply on Spares and freight and what is entry passed in the Books of Account, Total service Tax Credit can avail or 25% service Tax credit avail

08 April 2009 Since you are a registered service provider, any service tax paid on inward transportation of inputs would be available for CENVAT credit. You can avail the full amount of service tax paid on freight.
