Credit Taken against Supplimentary Invoice

Dear Experts,
Kindly help me, Is there any possiblity to take a credit aginst supplimentaty invoices.
If the supplementay invocies raised against case booked by the dept. we eligible to take credit. If not possible take the credit pls refer me a rules and notifications

Supplementary invoices are good for taking credit up to only duty is paid other then misstatement, suppression of facts or contravention of rules by the manufacturer. This is clear in the Rule 9(1)(b) of the CENVAT Credit Rules,2004.
