10 September 2011 Where can we claim the credit of input service tax from.? can we claim the credit either from excise duty pla/payable or servise tax payable on output service or output vat payable.?

10 September 2011 service tax input credit is available for set off against

1) payment of service tax for taxable services provided.

2) payment of excise duty for excisable goods manufactured in facotry.

apart from two above, service tax input credit is not available.
