Credit card bills & it return filing...??

Hi sir/madam
My Friend received letter from IT dept asking him to show the details of income and details about credit card bills. Actually from the last 3 years he spent around 2 lacs per annum for credit card bills. Till now he didn't file any return.His monthly salary is 11000 PM and agricultural income around 1 lac pa.
While observing the IT notice they are asking us to show the details of FY 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13.But now it is not possible to file return for FY 2010-11.
Pleae suggest me how to file the return in this regard...

Incase credit card usage is personal nature, you can explain to A.O. if business nature, arrive the business income and file ITR-4
