07 February 2012 good afternoon sir this is muna kar from visakhaptnam, Andhra Pradesh. sir i would like to know whether i am eligible for CA- CPT exam or not. Sir my qualification is B.A. from orissa, Berahmupur University and i was just completed my MBA(finance) and since five years i am doing accounts work. so could it possible for me to apply or not and could it possible if i will be apply through South Zonal because i had completed my study from orissa and i am doing a job at visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

So kindly give some solution to my query.

07 February 2012 Who had completed 10+2 or equalent to it are eligible to CA-CPT so your are eligible to to take CPT the zone is depended on the address provided by you i think your periminent address is Vishakhapatnam you are South Zonal place of study is irrelavent.

07 February 2012 Hi,
As per the latest amendment made by ICAI, those who are done with their Graduation can directly appear for IPCC exams and hence they DO NOT have to appear for CPT.
