25 December 2012 Hello Members

I cleared CA in MAY 2012 exam. Joined ICAI members register in August 2012. Please let me know whether I have to comply with the CPE credit requirement for the Year 2012.

Is there any exemption certificate to be obtained.

26 December 2012 First year CPE credit not required. Your CPE credit counting shall start from 2013.

27 December 2012 Another point worth remembering is CALENDER basis of counting CPE hours. So start gathering CPE credit from 01/01/2013. Happy new year and best of luck.
