12 December 2012 Dear Sir,
In many cases of AY 2012-13, cpc has not given the benefit of 80C in the intimations u/s 143(1), which was claimed in returns. Now I have to file rectification, which is a time spending and and a teadious task.

I dont understand why cpc making such mistakes.

12 December 2012 It is very easy to apply for rectification in income tax efiling website.
but first you check your filed return.

12 December 2012 Rectification u/s 154 is not at all tedious...u jst have to resubmit the same ITR after making corrections.:)
