07 July 2015 I am a CA student. I have completed both groups of IPCC in single attempt . I am just about to start my articleship. Many of my friends have told me that i can pursue for any other course also by filing form no. 112 with ICAI. As per regards of my career i want to do private practice of CA & m not interested in doing job. So kindly i want to know which courses will help me in CA practicing & will add on my knowledge.

07 July 2015 Your friends have rightly advice you regarding form 112 for doing additional course with CA.

Yes doing another course is not a compulsion as your future vision is clear.

It is a fact that in today’s time ICAI membership only is not enough to set up a good career. To improve the chances of getting quick employment after receiving ICAI membership following practical things is necessary to be considered:

1. More than basic understanding of accounting.
2. Good knowledge of ERP, Tally, SAP, IFRS, MIS working environment.
3. Understanding of working as a finance part.
4. Good and practical knowledge of Taxation.
