21 August 2013 Cost object is the product or service which required to capture the cost details

Cost center is the any object (like place,department,work etc) which required to capture some costs based on the cost nature

Under Cost object there may be multiple cost center

22 August 2013 Example if you want calculate the cost of any product or service, then that service or product called as object

Under that cost of service also may have different cost center like production, marketing, accounts etc.
