Costing methods are basically used for arrive the cost of the product/process/service/job etc. like Batch costing.Job costing, contract costing, process costing, service costing etc. however Costing techniques is the technique analysis the various impact like cost control measures, optimization and various other report like Marginal costing, Absorption costing, Standard costing etc.
