26 April 2010 A partnership firm is converted into pvt co. under part ix of the companies act. can the firm still continue its business even after such conversion. Or should it stops it activities in the firm from the date of incorporation.

26 April 2010 if partnership firm is converted into pvt co. then firm still continue its business even after such conversion. but businessuns in company name.

28 April 2010 if the business run in the company's name, i:e from the date of incorporation of the company - no activities can be carried out in partnership firm. Then the question is how company can start activities without PAN, VAT I&E number from the very first day. Should company required to stop its activities before it goes under all these formalities?
