I wish to clarify a doubt regarding Common Seal Under Companies Act 2013.
i.e. What are the contents are must in the common seal.
Whether CIN is mandatory along with Name & state in which the company situated?

22 October 2014 1. No mention in the act about contents of common seal.

2. However, SS-8 of ICSI says name and place of registered office must be in the common seal.

3. Apart from the above, my observation is, it being the official signature of the company, CIN also should be included.
