copying closing stock value in tally

My client is maintaining seperate files for each accounting period in tally. can I copy the closing stock items value in one tally file (previous year) to another tally file (current year)i.e whether carry forward facility is available or what can i do to combine these two years

Please give a suggestion

01 December 2010 Two years cannot be combined in Tally. No Carryforward facility is available in Tally. For Solution please call on +91-9927199217

01 December 2010 Present Tally ERP version you can export the stock items and balance in XML format file and same can be download any other Tally ERP files

14 December 2010 Hey This is possible to combine two years data in any version of tally

you just export list of accounts & whole day book in xml format, then import list of account in following procedure Gateway tally - import master- type XML.Master & then import day book following steps Gateway of tally -import voucher type Xml.Daybook
Both Co. is Merge
