what is COP NUMBER. is it firm registration no. or membership no. or is it something else? how do i get this no.?

It is Certificate of Practice Number allotted to those professionals who applied for it to do practice. It is different from FRN, and Mem No.

Dear Soni, if u r an CA(Chartered Accountant) then ur Mem. No. will b COP No. This is only for professionals link Cost Accountant(CA). So, do not worry, I was saying for CMA'S and not Chartered.
