I am a qualified CA and CS. I recently started practising as a CA, and since I do not have much work load, can I take up job as a CS in some organization along with my COP in CA?

When you hold COP as CA you cannot engage yourself in any other profession or business or employment. Same is the case with CS. If you wish to be employed as CS you must surrender your COP.

There is no problem with membership number you can continue to hold both membership numbers.

This defied all logic. For being a member of the ICSI you have to complete all your training requirements and then apply for membership provided you have cleared all your examinations.

Yes Sir I have cleared all my examination, and want to undergo training inorder to obtain my membership no, but before that I just wanted to be sure whether I can hold membership of both institutes at the same time or not, hence I raised the query

Membership of both Institutes can be held but not COP.
