Respected ICAI members...you are requested to please resolve my query .Its urgent .
.I wanna know how can a CA in practise join a company or a ca firm as an employee .
I have not yet recieved my COP but have got a job offer from a company.I am interested in joining the company but can I join immediately or I need to take ICAI permission first.

18 April 2015 u can join the job and then fil the form to cover ur cop to part time cop

18 April 2015 Ok..but I was informed through some sources that cop holder cannot join a company as it is not allowed even on permission.Although can be a part of a CA firm but not a Company .Is there any such provision.please confirm

18 April 2015 If you want to join company then surrender your COP, as no one can use attestation power while serving industry

18 April 2015 but u can join company and just fil the form for surrendring cop ... u can do that

18 April 2015 Thank U for replying...but actually it is a consultancy firm and are asking for some written declaration from me that I will not be using their clients for my practise....
