Q.1 Whether a CA who is in employment under a CA FIRM cab hold COP and do attest function.???
Q.2 Whether i will be considered as i am in practice if i do job in ca firm and do not hold COP?
Q.3 what will be the effect on FCA if i) I do job in ca firm and hold COP.?ii) I do job in ca firm and do not hold COP?.

What is the procedure to convert full time cop into part time cop?

31 July 2012 This is dependent on your employer. If employer agrees, you amy hold full time COP subject to conditions of ICAI. Like recently ICAI has clarified that a professor can hold full time COP. This has facilitated many CAs serving as professors to do attest function. (This has also resulted in STOMACH ache in other non ca professors)

31 July 2012 That is what I was trying to aim at.... CA(Employer) shall decide as per the terms and conditions of the employment. You can not compell him to allow you to be in full time practice as well as in employment. The demand and supply cycle normally decides such ratios.
