I would like to know the procedure to convert a private ltd co. to public ltd co.

09 October 2007 As per Sec 44 of the said Act,

1. hold board meeting
2. hold general meeting (Special Resoultion)for amendment of AoA.
3. Filing requirements (within 30days)
4. Effective date of conversion
5. Increasing the no., of memebers to 7
6. Increasing number of directors to 3
7. Increasing the paid up capital to Rs.5L
8. Surrender of Original certificate of incorporation and obtaining of a fresh certificate of incorporation.

Changing the name ending with LTD instead of Pvt Ltd
filing of form 32 etc
