conversion from old course to new

27 January 2011 Sir Pls help to clear my doubts about whether we need to go thru a procedure for conversion from CA(old) course to new or we'll be autometicaly converted. It came to me that submitting conversion form along with a DD of Rs 1100 is mandatory.
Is it..or it is only required for the new study material and i can attempt the may 2011 final exam without going thru the above mentioned procedure.

Pls clear my doubts as early as possible since even our regional office (Ranchi) is not aware about the fact.

Please see the ICAI website.
here is an announcement for Final(Old) syllabus students.
It is saying that administrative procedures will be announced soon.
So,wait & see.
