26 June 2011 Valuation of goods removed from factory as consignment sale is covered under Rule 7 of central excise valuation rules 2000. Valuation shall be, the value of similar goods removed from the depot / premise of consignment agent at or about same time & where there is no such sale, nearest time of sale.
