Sir,
We have filed form 17 with ROC, but when receipt generated the following note came
Form17 is filed by the delay of 9 Days . Hence, you are requested to approach the Company Law Board for condonation of delay and take further necessary steps.
Can any one tell me what is the procedure on this and what is the time limit.

Form 17 for satisfaction of charge has to be filed within 30 days from the date of satisfaction of charge. In case of expiry of the said period of 30 days, you have to approach Company Law Board and file a Petition under section 141 of the Companies Act, 1956 for condonation of delay.
On receipt of CLB Order, file a certified true copy of the CLB order in Form 21 with ROC within 30 days from the date of receipt of order. Once Form 21 has been approved by ROC, proceed to file Form 17.
On receipt of CLB Order, file a certified true copy of the CLB order in Form 21 with ROC within 30 days from the date of receipt of order. Once Form 21 has been approved by ROC, proceed to file Form 17.
