Concurrent audit of bank

12 June 2014 Sir,I am being sent for a concurrent audit of a bank.
I wanted to ask you what is the scope of concurrent auditor in future? what all will i get to learn? Is it really going to be worth it? I really need some help. I will probably be going there for a year and working at the bank it self. Will it be worth it?

12 June 2014 ofcourse yes.... concurrent audits are going to be the backbone...since statutory branch audits are being restricted with certain monetory limit....say only branches above 50 Cr....So? Obviously, the scope of concurrent audit will increase.

13 June 2014 of course yes. (By the way, you seem to be dis interested in Banking industry...if that be the case, please don't go for it) Analytically speaking.....Banking and Insurance are the back bones of the financial world. You might consider yourself lucky that you r getting an opprtunity to work with one of such industry for full one year)
