Hello,
My client is charging Service tax @1.8 % on newspaper advertising service. I am not able to search that by which notification they were given advise by some other consultant. Please provide notification number if anyone knows !

The advertising agent is eligible for 15% commission on such advertising service. So, he is collecting 12.36% on 15% of his commission. It works out to 1.8%.

I think you are asking the query on behalf of the service provider.
Show the commission amount alone in the taxable turnover column and the service tax as 12.36%. There is no notification necessary for paying full tax. Notn is necessary for abatement or reverse charge.
