plz anyone can tell me how to find out date of acquisition of agriculture land if land is inhereted.as i want to compute capital gain and u dont have acquisition date.

I think it is better to consider indexation value for the year of purchase is 100. However on sale of the agriculture land in rural areas i.e beyond 5 km of the municipality or 8 km of the corporation is exempted to capital gain tax. For your case this exemption avail then no question of date of purchase.
