14 August 2018 Whether every commission agent is required under GST irrespective of turnover 20 lacs or only PURE AGENT , every commisson paid on sales is required registration by the recipient ?

15 August 2018 Yes, GST registration is compulsory for every person who makes taxable supplies of goods and services on behalf of another taxable person, GST is mandatory for all commission agents, whether their annual turnover is above the threshold or not.

18 August 2018 Sir Thanks, but under compulsory registration , who make supply on behalf of the other are required to take registration earlier it was called C & F AGENT ( Clearing & Forwarding Agent) and not marketing agent who procure only orders , hope you will re think on it
