I am a CA final student. The date of commencement of my Article service and final course was 2006. I had completed my Articleship in 2009. Under the Postal Theoritical Education Scheme, I had been eligible to appear for final examination commencing from Nov 2008.
However, I have not appeared for any final exam till date due to some personal reason. With reference to an announcement of ICAI, I have applied for Revalidation of Registration in 2011. But I had got a reply that the announcement had been put on hold and ICAI had returned the DD which I had submitted along with the application.
I would like to know the procedures for re-validating my registration. I would also like to know under which syllabus I can appear for the upcoming exams.
Though I wrote to the centre [Chennai], I did not get a reply. Please let me know if you can help me with any details so that I can proceed with the next steps.

Dear Anish,
Re-validation process is very simple but if your DD has been returned than there may be some reason behind that . Kindly post your problem in E-Sahayta portal of ICAI - help.icai.org
