Competent authority for allowing hbl interest on iii house

25 February 2015 Dear Sir,

Please let me know that drawing officer is competent for exemption of HBL interest on third house. My officer is not allowing the interest on HBL and advising to claim refund as the rent collection more than one house is to be treated as business and saying he is not competent in this case.

25 February 2015 You have to file the return admitting rental income and claim HBL interest and claim refund if any. Pay drawing officer what ever he is saying is right he can't allow such claims.
